Currently, FDT has the ability to export Ant, but its particular to FDT. One of things that I need to do is get my projects working under my clients build process. The ability to export a fully functional Ant script based on the current project would be a huge time saver. Not to mention, it would also be a learning tool for those of us who aren't Ant wizards. SourceMate currently has this feature and its been very helpful in the past. I would be a great help to have this in FDT.

Hey John,

I'll take a closer look at the Sourcemate's generate Ant build and see where it's different as far as FDT including IDE - specific hooks.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've attached a sample build.xml from SMs Generate Ant Build if that helps.

I'm voicing my support for this, it would be great to generate an ANT script that has all the launch configurations translated into ANT build targets. I have projects that transfer to other people that want to integrate the build into a larger collection of non-FDT, non-AIR projects. being able to tweak the ANT build files after with proper directories, etc would make it easy for them
