 Description  « Hide
The ability to input hexadecimal color codes (to compliment the RGB input) when specifying Actionscript Colors in the FDT Editor Prefences screen would make changing color schemes much easier. Similar to Flash Builder 4.

Do you mean like this?
package {
	import flash.display.Sprite;

	public class Main extends Sprite {
		public function Main() {

This will throw a compiler error.

Shown here is how Flash Builder allows you to enter hexidecimal codes when specifying syntax coloring to allow custom themes.

Hi Alan,

No I mean having the ability to input hex colour codes to compliment the RGB input within the FDT Editor Preferences panel. Similar to how Flash Builder allows this (see attached screenshot). I realise this is a limitation of Eclipse however if Adobe can add the feature into Flash Builder I'm sure you guys could add it into FDT.

When I first posted this feature request changing colour schemes was rather tedious however I've since discovered this site and it's plugin which ease the burden of creating/changing themes.

You can create custom themes with hex input here:

And it's easy to change themes using their eclipse plugin (which supports FDT) here:

With this new setup I guess my feature request is no longer needed, although I'm sure it would be useful to have a native hex input available.
